Let's Catch up...

So I know I haven't been updating my blog the way I want to, and for that matter, I haven't been reading the way that I want to. Life has gotten crazy, and I don't know for certain when it's going to calm down so I decided to take some time for myself.

In the last few months, I've read quite a bit but not near as much as I wanted to, if I were going to hit my yearly goal I'd pretty much need to read a book a day and since I know that isn't going to happen I'm going to be ok with missing it this year.

As for what I've read lately this pretty book that had me laughing out loud, is How to Outwit a Wizard by the incomparable Amy Boyles, I've been buddy-reading Long Live Evil by Sarah Rees Brennan and I think it's going to end up being in my top ten books of all time, I love it but I'm waiting to finish it to say for sure.

I've also been in a mood; I'm having some health issues, and so is my husband, so in all honesty, reading just hasn't been the priority; since he went to bed early tonight, I decided to take some me time and grab a book.

For anyone who has messaged, I'm ok, just taking it a day at a time; hopefully, after the beginning of next month, things will be better, and I'll be back to my normal reading schedule.

So I'm going to try and be better about updating here and on my other social media platforms I just have to priority

Now I am trying to come up with an ending to the more personal posts, and I'm drawing a blank, so I'll just say I hope your tomorrow is better than your last five-star read.
