The Surgeon

This book had me questioning every interaction I've ever had with a Doctor. As someone that's had surgery to repair an ascending aortic dissection this one hit really close to home.

I've never stopped to consider what decisions someone in the medical profession could make when faced with unfathomable choices.

Imagine being at the top of your career, having everyone look up to you, having all of the things you'd always dreamed of just to have one person stand in the way... what would you do? That's what Dr. Anne Wiley will have to decide.

This is a psychological thriller at its best (in my opinion) it had me thinking and wondering and questioning all while keeping me glued to it.

was wonderful, with a tone and inflection that lent itself fabulously to this story, adding so much depth and personality to our characters.
