This story gripped me from the first moment, the back and forth storytelling was fantastic, the ending while somewhat expected had a few surprises and kept me invested until the very last page.

This relationship that is written so beautifully you almost forget that through the lives of these two adults and their children there has been loss, deception, grief, even murder.

Alex and Patrick seemed to have it all, until A.C. showed up and the entire family, no the entire community was left shocked and reeling.

This is the first book I've read by this author but it won't be the last. It's a truly engaging unputdownable mystery that has you wondering what you would sacrifice to save the people who are most important to you.
