Let me start by saying I love a good psychological thriller, and this had so much promise, the plot had me hooked and I was looking forward to reading this book.

The premise is brilliant, I'd never read anything like it and that's saying something. This did have me sitting reading page after page to see what was going to happen next, who Jennifer could trust, who knew about the financial issues, who knew about the affairs, of Sara and Rory, and just how much of a double life Cole was leading.

If you're looking for a psychological thriller that will competely engulf you in its complexity then this is a great book for you, it's a great story and I wanted to love it there were just a few things that didn't add up to me.

I understand that wives sign documents for their husband's businesses all the time without reading them, that part I believed, however the part I had the biggest problem with was Cole having no life insurance.

How does someone with multiple children with multiple women, a business, and assets not have life insurance, I realize that could have completely changed the plot of the book but for it to not be at least mentioned seemed like such a huge loophole to me and I couldn't stop thinking about it as the book went on.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for providing an advance copy of this ebook, I have voluntarily read and reviewed it and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
