Stealing Infinity

Writer's picture: Ann NicholeAnn Nichole

A brilliant take on time travel that has you thinking what if from the very first mention of it. From masquerade balls, to kidnappings to impossible fiery relationships, this book has absolutely everything I look for in a YA fantasy book.

Nat has had more than her fair share of ups and downs, she finally finds a place where she almost feels like herself with her best friend Elodie.

A day of skipping school at Club Arcana and laughing at what she sees will change her life forever and open possibilities that she couldn't even imagine and make her realize she has no understanding of what the world can be , if she's willing to pay the price.

An impossible to find private school, Gray Wolf academy is right out of my dreams, somewhere between castles, and classrooms I fell in love with the world we see being built in Stealing Infinity (I found myself thinking about the setting in every scene and it was a fantastic roller coaster of emotions and mental visuals that kept me glued to the page... well tablet).

Situated in the middle of nowhere, Nat finds herself feeling more alone than she ever has, questioning every relationship she thinks she knows and weary of the people she's learning she's supposed to depend on. All while learning to time travel, steal, lie, fence, and even how to depend on people when she's been the one people depended on for so long.

As Nat makes her way through the tests and trials we see her become her own person, wrestle with morality and make decisions that could have life or death consequences for more than just her. With her newfound friends will she be able to be all that Arthur expects her to be or will disappointing the ominous Mr. Blackstone send her back to a life that she can't bear to think of now.

A twisting and turning, centuries spanning story that pulls you in with such visual storytelling that you feel like you're there. This is a master class in YA storytelling. that leaves the reader wanting and needing more.

I loved it so much I've ordered a physical copy and pre-ordered the second installment in this series. Thank you to NetGalley for providing an e-arc in exchange for an honest review.
