With vivid storytelling and world building that will have you feeling like you're sitting in the middle of an orchard that's either haunted, magical or both this story draws you in and keeps you spellbound until the very last word.

August and Emery both have reasons to want leave, to forget, to never come back, but somehow here they are back where so many of the things that shaped their lives started and will be finished.

With history comes regrets and what ifs and this book has those a plenty, you see life, death and magic seem to be the only constants on the island, and thats not likely to change anytime soon.

I had very set ideas of what I was going to find in this book and it surprised me, by the end I realized when it comes to Adrienne Young I need to stop trying to figure things out beforehand and just enjoy the ride.

This is a solid 4.5 star book and I loved it.
