Let me start by saying I love books with vampires, and when I can find a new author with an original idea it makes my heart happy.

Raine is trapped, there's no other way to put it, as one of the heirs to the vampire throne she doesn't have much of a say about anything in her life, until Korban.

Korban has been put in charge of the angels in his line and is the one that takes all of the blame and the punnishment for anything they do, which leads him to feel nothing.

As the turmoil between Olympus and the Underworld grows so does the relationship between Raine and Korban (even if it takes one of them longer to accept it), in my opinion they're true soul mates and as their relationship intinsifies so does the danger.

When demons find out about Raine they have no choice but to trust each other and try and save each other, even though in the end I'm not sure who saved who first.

This is the first of this series that I've read but I need to read more, it was haunting, beautiful, action packed and everything I look for in a paranormal book.

Five stars for this one and I can't wait to read more.
